Steady Tempo Ready GO! / 1:29 AM

Wow. I haven't updated for two whole months. Ah well.

A lotta stuff has happened over the past two months. And since I'm lazy, I'ma list em down in points.

1. Malay A Levels. God if I don't pass it this time, I don't know where to put my face. I'lll probably do something reckless like going for poly education instead, but I'll still need Malay to fulfill my prerequisite for university later. Can I ever escape this language?

2. Sunburst Youth Camp. I don't know what to think of it yet, but so far it's going good - the people are nice, the rehearsals make me feel in touch with my artsy self for the first time in a year, and it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Too bad it's taking me away from Prom and OGL Camp.

3. Orientation Planning. Yeah it's a lot of work, but the whole thing is starting to take shape. I'm reallly excited for Finale, I just hope whatever we planned will work out :D

4. Promo Results. I won't post the exact grades, but I got retained. Next year's gonna be really weird. Buuuut it's a new start!

5. Leadership Training Camp. FunfunFUN!! My group's a pretty funny bunch, we laughed A LOT, so even though we're not the most enthu group in the camp, it's fine. And whatever we are, we're definitely not original. Come on, with a group name like Boomz? Can't expect anything better XD Haha we're awesome anyway. FULL BODY!

Anyway, back to everyday life. Been watching a lot of SYTYCD videos and MVs recently, and I found this routine by Kherigton and Twitch. Their movements are so fluid, I'd kill to move like them! Love the song too!

And I just watched (500) Days Of Summer online. Loved it, the effects, the storyline, everything! It felt pretty organic to me, sort of artsy-fartsy, so if you're not into that type you Probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. Next movie - My SIster's Keeper! Gosh I love tearjerkers :')

Life in retrospect / 8:08 AM

You know it's time to get real philosophical and start reflecting on your own life and where the heck it's going when you're tasked to do an essay on happiness, or rather the factors that lead you to it, in life. In Malay. With only 20 more minutes to finish it, and barely a paragraph done. God, I don't know what the heck I was doing yesterday =.=

And that one paragraph I wrote sounded so technical I can't believe I'm even writing it. I mean, how the heck are you supposed to define something like that? It's like defining love. There's no way to be able to really appreciate it without having experienced it yourself, and there's just no way to describe that feeling. At least, no way that will sound good enough. It's always incomplete for some reason. It's like life's way of mocking us mere humans that it's impossible for us to know the meaning of everything that happens in life. And for some weird reason, that's kinda comforting.

Great, I'm wasting time again. 14 minutes left. Whoopee.

Sentimentalities / 11:10 PM

Twas Awesome. :D Nuff said, cause if I continue I'll probably end up spoiling it for you cos I won't be able to keep my mouth shut about which parts exactly were awesome. So just watch it when you can. On DVD when it comes out of course, since it stopped showing on cinemas already. SLOWPOKES. XD

Just saw a whole bunch of photos that made my day. Yeah yeah, so it's near the end of it already, so what? It still counts.

I truly am a lucky person. I dunno why the hell I whine so much about my life when I've already got more than I deserve.

Thank God for that :)

/ 10:32 PM

Okay, I know I should be studying and not watching Singapore Idol, but whatever.

BENJAMIN DIDN'T GET IN!!!! LIKE WTH?!?!?!? That's just unfair. They should totally replace Dwayne with him. I mean, he's got some brushing up to do on his personality, but his voice is AMAZING. So what if he sang a jazz number?? So what if it didn't seem tender enough (even though I thought he handled the song pretty well)??? What makes him less deserving of the place than Dwayne, who's been working in MediaCorp since Kids Central!!!

And thank goodness they changed Top 12 to Top 13, cos I was this close to throwing a fit when Mae didn't get in.

Sorry for the outburst. I'm just really frustrated.

Okay. Back to Council PowerPoints and Chemical Bonding. MEH. T_T
